The project educated and legally empowered women and girls with rights knowledge to reduce risks and mitigate consequences of Gender Based Violence experienced by women and girls through referrals for support services. WRAHP’s focused on Domestic and Gender Based Violence (D&GBV) and other forms of sexual violence while implementing this project. The project facilitated community leaders and members in Ikoyi-Obalende and Iru-Victoria Island LCDAs) to address gender inequalities, sexual and the economic rights of women and girls. The project also directly empowered over 10,000 vulnerable community members to demand for and access sexual and reproductive health justice through the existing Lagos DV Law 2007.
